Carillon Ringers
“Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!” – Psalm 95:2
The Carillon Ringers at St. Mark’s are a bell choir with eleven ringers playing three octaves of Schulmerich handbells and three octaves of Malmark handchimes. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings and participate in worship once a month at the 10:00 a.m. service on Sundays September through May. For many years we have been invited as guests to perform at the Olathe Civic Band’s Holiday Concert In December. We are grateful for the gift of music, the time together as a choir and the privilege to praise God with the sound of ringing bells! As Johann Sebastian Bach so wonderfully stated: “Music’s only purpose should be for the glory of God, and the recreation of the human spirit.” If you are interested in playing in the Bell choir, please contact the office.
